Take your Mercedes Sprinter's fuel capacity to the next level with the S&B Filters 45 Gallon Expansion Tank. This tank is designed for easy plug-and-play installation, allowing you to replace the standard 24-gallon tank with a massive 45-gallon version. It mounts in the stock location with an additional rear strap for added support, utilizing space both in front of and behind the original tank without extending further toward the driver's side.
Your Fuel Gauge Works Like Normal
No need to worry about inaccurate fuel readings. S&B’s innovative design ensures that your fuel gauge operates normally. While the gauge stays on "full" for the first 5-7 gallons, it will continue to drop and move as expected afterward. Please note, your vehicle will still calculate "miles to empty" based on the stock fuel capacity. For example, at 20 MPG, your true range is 940 miles on a full tank, but your vehicle will display 480 miles to empty.

With plumbing/items 24 inches from the rear end of the OEM tank or 19 inches from the rear end of the large rear cross-member.

Part # 10-1032 is a shorter 40 gallon tank and will work for 170" Crew Vans and vans with plumbing behind the tank
Important: The fuel gauge will only work accurately on vans with the J51 fuel gauge (optimized for aux. fuel tap). Please call S&B, send a message with your VIN, or consult with your installer to confirm if your van has J51.
When using the auxiliary fuel tap on stock tanks, tap stops pulling fuel around 1/4 tank. With the S&B Tank, it will stop pulling fuel around 1/3-1/2 tank.

To be eligible for a return, your product must be unused, in new condition, and in the original packaging. The original sales invoice must accompany the return. No refunds or exchanges will be offers for items over 30 calendar days from the date of receipt. For CAtuned Off-Road bumpers, please contact us with any issues.
Please do not ship your purchase to the manufacturer. All shipping and other fees associated with a return are up to, and will be charged to the customer. A restocking fee may apply.
