Remove the factory active grille shutters on compatible Toyota trucks and SUVs while keeping the shutter system properly connected. The CAtuned Toyota Active Grille Shutter Delete Kit is a simple solution for vehicles running an aftermarket bumper or other front-end modifications where the factory shutters need to be removed.
The kit allows the factory grille shutters to be removed while keeping the shutter module connected, helping prevent the related check-engine light and error codes that can occur when the factory system is removed or disconnected.
Remove the factory shutters from the module, connect the CAtuned shutter delete in their place, and securely mount the retained module out of the way. The kit is especially useful when installing compatible aftermarket front bumpers or other front-end modifications.
If the factory shutter module is currently unplugged or has previously been unplugged, vehicle calibration may be required regardless of whether the CAtuned shutter delete is installed.
